Our mission is to invite and encourage all God’s people to participate in the joy of following Jesus Christ.

Spirit of Joy is a congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America (ELCA). We have been worshipping together since 2001.
We believe in open communion, which means if you are a baptized and believing Christian, you are welcome to participate in the holy sacrament. You are invited to walk in joy with us, as we follow Jesus Christ wherever he leads us! |
Sundays at Spirit of Joy
-We worship at 9:30 AM at the Buffalo High School Performing Art Center (PAC).*
-Though children are always welcome for the entire service, we do offer a toddler program during worship for those who wish to use it.
-Worship is followed by Sunday School for K-5th, and our "Big Fish" program for confirmation age kids- high schoolers. We also offer GUSS Classes (Grown Up Sunday School) for those interested adults.
*The High School is located at 877 Bison Blvd in Buffalo.

Prayer Team
"And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him." (Hebrews 11:6)
"Lord, I want to live according to Your will. Thank you for being faithful beyond my comprehension. Help me to live a life that’s pleasing to You."
Our Prayer Team meets monthly. They wear badges in church so that you may identify them, and if you ever desire to have someone pray with you, or pray for you or a loved one, please speak to them directly.
